What the supplier delivers and what you must confirm
CallHippo documents webhooks with call activity, SMS and status changes, sent as JSON via POST to the configured URL. Do not attribute to that description a guarantee of order or retries. The receiver needs a service that processes requests. A static page like CallsIQ cannot save those events simply by having a URL. Use your system's authorized backend or an automation service; don't put private keys in public code.

The call ID is not always sufficient as the identity of the event: a call can have several legitimate changes. Build the key from the data that the provider guarantees; Don't invent a field that doesn't appear in your schema.
Proposed process, independent of the tool
- Validate source and body against the contract before modifying records.
- It permanently saves the accepted event and its reference, with the protection provided for your data.
- Detect repeated deliveries using an appropriate uniqueness constraint.
- Applies the update compatible with the status and time of the event.
- Record success or error and maintains a review path.
- Responds according to the delivery contract; do not announce success before lasting acceptance.
These rules are a proposed architecture, not an already deployed implementation or an assertion about CallHippo retries. If the automation tool doesn't expose those controls, find out what it ensures and which part you need to review manually.

Operate and recover
Periodically reviews pending events and compares a sample with the supplier's history. Before reproducing a batch, identify which ones have already been applied. A “rerun” button can repeat sales, tasks, or messages if there is no duplicate protection.
